MGT 425 Leadership & Motivation

Description

Analysis of Ideal Application of Motivational Theory with Personal Leadership Style
[WLOs: 1, 2, 3] [CLOs: 1, 2]
For this assignment, you will have the opportunity to examine your preferred leadership approach in relation to motivational theory. Notably, leadership and motivation are reflexive—motivated followers have motivated leadership—while the inverse is also typical. In this assignment, you will evaluate the effectiveness of your leadership style. You will try to examine if that style helps or detracts from the motivation of followers.
Over      the course of your leadership studies, you have explored several      leadership styles. Among these styles are authoritarian, democratic,      laissez-faire, transactional, transformational, and servant leadership. In      preparation for this assignment, revisit your leadership approach in your      current or previous occupation, your family, or your community, and      identify which best represents your primary leadership style. For a      refresher on these leadership styles, go through the Leadership Styles Refresher Download      Leadership Styles Refresherpresentation.
