Write a paper (not including title and reference pages) reflecting your identity as a professional counselor. The following questions will serve as prompts to help you write your paper. The paper needs to demonstrate your reflectiveness, honesty, and self-awareness. As you reflect on the questions, make sure you include the role of your Christian faith or Christian worldview in your paper.I have included in red some brief sub-bullet points to answer of the professor’s prompts
What has brought you to the field of counseling?
After earning my degree from LETU and working part of the mobile crisis outreach team and client’s rights officer I realized I found my calling

To aid in the recover and education of individual diagnosed with SMI

Part of the professional counseling identity is joining a counseling association such as American Counseling Association, Texas Counseling Association (or your state chapter), American Association of Christian Counselors. Review at least two professional counseling associations and state its purpose, how it meets the needs of graduate counseling students, how much for student membership, what you like about the organization, and your plan on being involved in a counseling organization.
