After you done with the discussion I will send you my classmates discussion and you have to make Reply to their discussion 2 at least 100 words in each reply.
For this discussion post I would like for you to first watch the two videos linked below.
Then, I would like for you to (1) find a wrongful conviction case involving eyewitness misidentification, (2) summarize the case for your classmates, and (3) discuss the misidentification based on what we have learned in class and in the videos. Please choose a case that has enough information available for you to reasonably discuss the identification that occurred in the case and to discuss what (if anything) could have potentially prevented the misidentification.
Below are links to cases from both the Innocence Project and National Registry of Exonerations. The National Registry of Exonerations cases are already filtered for eyewitness misidentification but for the Innocence Project link you will need to scroll down and select the filter option on the right -> click on “Contributing Cause of Conviction” -> and then select “Eyewitness Misidentification” -> then hit “View the Cases 137” at the bottom of the screen.
