Review both the Common Warning Signs of a Scam and the Parking Ticket Trap story found in the topic 2 supporting documents. Write a report listing all the warning signs found in the Ticket story and what could have been done to prevent the scam.
Find a a real scam story online or write your own scam story. Students can use a Generative AI program such as ChatGPT to help write your own story. Your story can also be fake news. Try to find or write a story that includes as many scam warning signs as possible. Stories must include at least 5 common warning signs.
After writing your scam or fake news story, post it online in the discussion board. Students must comment on at least two classmates scam stories.
