Description
Provide feedback to all of the peers in your group by Thursday at 11:59 PM. Your feedback should be substantive and constructive. Respond to one of the question sets below for each group mate:
For the abstract: Based on the first few sentences of the abstract, restate the topic in your own words. If you’re able to talk about the connection between the current event and the human right, your peer is on the right track. If not, let your peer know what they need to add, and offer suggestions.
For the abstract: Write out your peers’ question and thesis in your own words. Do both address the issue of framing? If not, how could either the question or thesis (or both!) be revised to address how the issue is framed? If yes, are you convinced by the thesis and reasons? Do you know what kind of evidence your peer will be using to support their reasons and argument?
For the annotated bibliography: Does your group mate have at least six sources? If so, do they meet the requirements of the prompt? How? If not, what sources do they need to include?
For the annotated bibliography: Choose two of the sources in the annotated bibliography (we suggest looking at two different types of sources). For each source, note where your group mate proposes to use the source (e.g., as evidence in support of reason 1, as background, as evidence in support of a counterargument, etc.). If you’re not sure based on the annotation, let your peer know what makes you unsure and, if you can, provide a suggestion for how the source might be used in the paper using DAB.
