After reading Chapter 6 in Contemporary Issues in Leadership, answer the following questions:
Follower styles are based on two dimensions: performance initiative and relationship initiative. Assess yourself on the 4 domains of performance initiative; describe the evidence. Assess yourself on the relationship initiative subscales; describe the evidence for each.
Based on the 2 dimensions in question 1, how would you categorize yourself in terms of follower style (i.e. contributor)? Identify specific choices/behaviors/changes you need to make to move into contributor or partner quadrants. If you are in the quadrant of choice, what will you do to maintain and improve behaviors?
