Discussion 1: Chapter 1
Instructions
After reading all of Chapter 1 and The First Adirondackers (see Required Readings & Resources page), answer the following prompt in your own words, using proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation:
What challenges might a current day scientist face when attempting to understand the motivations, habits, and daily life of ancient human cultures?
Guidelines
You must make an initial posting of 300 words no later than Thursday.
You cannot collaborate with other students or use Generative or Artificial Intelligence, such as ChatGPT, Bard, Copilot, and Jasper, or peer-to-peer collaboration “study” sites like Quizlet, Studyblue, and Coursehero.

After you have made your initial posting, please read and respond to TWO or more of your classmates’ posts (200 words each). You MUST “identify” by name the classmates to whom you respond. In addition to the two classmates’ postings, you MUST also respond to the instructor’s question with a posting of at least 200 words.
