Purpose:The purpose of this assignment is to explain how early development is influenced by both genetics and the environment, including family dynamics and early trauma, and what strategies can be used for trauma-informed care.Directions:For this assignment, you will complete a training document template that can be used with a new co-worker at your center.Using the readings, course learning activities, and the assignment template, you will provide information to help educate a new co-worker on the factors that can influence early childhood development. This information will be beneficial for the new caregiver when working with the children in your setting as well as when supporting families. Your training document will also provide specific information on how early trauma influences development.
