The following article uses data from several lengthy research studies to look at the long-term benefits of working from home on the health and happiness of employees. The writers, who are both experts in occupational wellness psychology, come to the conclusion that because it gives people more freedom, working from home usually makes people happier with their jobs and lowers stress and burnout. But they are also aware of the prospective downsides, such as being alone and having trouble balancing work and personal life. This source is extremely significant for supporting my thesis because it gives strong proof that working from home is good for your health and also lets me answer probable counterarguments.

Johnson’s study looks into the manner in which functioning from home affects how productive and engaged employees are. The study finds that working compared to home can make people more productive because they don’t have to deal with as many distractions and can make their work setting more personal. The study does say, though, that if leadership and communication aren’t done right, staff participation may go down. This piece will help me make my case that conducting business from home makes people more productive and also talks about how managers need to do their jobs well to keep employees interested.

Smith’s research examines the work-life mix of people who work from home and people who work in regular offices. The study demonstrates that remote workers usually say they have a better work-life balance, but they also face difficulties like work and personal time becoming mixed up. This source is very important for supporting my thesis given that it shows that working from home helps work-life balance, which is a key reason why believe it should be the rule to work from home.

This piece examines into the mental effects of working compared to home during the COVID-19 pandemic. Green talks about both the good and bad effects of working from home on mental health, such as decreased anxiety from not having to deal with traffic and more stress from being alone. This source will help me talk about the psychological aspects of working from home, showing how it can be good for employees’ health while also necessitating plans to lessen any bad effects that might happen.
White, K. Guidelines for Businesses on How to Deal with Remote Work. Inside Business. This website is trustworthy:

White’s piece presents businesses useful advice on how to set up rules for online work. It talks about the best methods to keep employees happy, productive, and communicating while they work from home. even though it’s not as scientifically sound as the other sources, this guide is helpful for learning how companies can handle remote teams well, which will help me with my talk of how remote work can be used in real life.

Brown and Wilson examine the poll results to find toward how happy employees are with working from home. The study shows that individuals are very satisfied with their independence and freedom, but they are also worried about moving up in their careers and being seen by other people in the company. This source will help my thesis by showing that employees are happier because they can work from home overall. It will also let me talk about areas that could be better.

Nelson’s Harvard Business Review the piece looks at the pros and cons of working from home from the point of view of a boss. The article communicates about how leaders can deal with problems like poor communication, keeping the team together, and managing performance when employees work from home. This source helps me understand the leadership issues that come with functioning from home, which adds to what I’ve already said about the subject

How does your list of resources with notes meet the requirements of the assignment?
My annotated a reference meets the standards set for the task because it has seven believable and reliable sources, is written in APA style, and has been organized in alphabetical order. Each entry has a brief summary of the source and a description of how I plan to use it to back up my case.
What worked best for you when you went looking for reliable sources?
Using academic sources like Google Scholar and only looking in peer-reviewed journals were the best activities I could do. This made sure that the sources I chose were reliable as they pertain to the topic of my study.
In what ways did it prove tough for you to find reliable sources?  How did you get by means of these problems?
One thing that was hard for me was finding sources that talked about the long-term benefits of working compared to home. I got around this through widening my search words and looking at linked studies on health and happiness at work, effectiveness, and satisfaction among staff members.This is the touchtone :
