These are the guidelines my teacher provided, please follow them directly and since it states “how the film/documentary connects back to what we’ve studied” I included below a few readings and the powerpoints my teacher has given us to this topic. Please regard these when writing the review so it is accurate.
REQUIREMENTS
Your film review assignment should include each of the following required elements:
Title
Clearly state which film or documentary you chose to review at the top of the page
Synopsis
Summarize the film’s plot, or the documentary’s primary topics/themes
What happens?
What’s the story?
Who’s involved?
Course Content
Explain how your chosen film or documentary relates to the topics and themes we’ve been exploring in our course
Does the film/documentary highlight or dramatize anything we’ve studied together? If fictional, how historically accurate are these dramatizations? If non-fictional, how does the film build upon what you already learned about this particular topic?
