Gen 101 Developing

Description

A SWOT Analysis is a tool used extensively in business to prepare for projects and initiatives and will be something you can use throughout your career. SWOT stands for strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Gaining an in-depth understanding of these will help you leverage your abilities to minimize risks and take full advantage of opportunities for success.
Your results will be used throughout this course, so it is important you take your time and thoughtfully complete this task. This self-analysis should take approximately 60 minutes to complete. Be sure to save your completed analysis, as you will need to upload it in this week’s discussion.
The Personal SWOT Analysis learning activity includes completing a template and an acknowledgement quiz.
As you approach this task:

Focus on your behaviors over time rather than how you feel in the moment. Consider trends and tendencies rather than allowing recent events to influence your answers.
Be as open and honest with yourself as possible when you respond to the questions. Weaknesses can only be addressed once they are identified and acknowledged.
Begin thinking about how you can use this information to approach goals in the future.

Note: You will complete the Personal SWOT Analysis Acknowledgement after you have completed your SWOT template.
