Going to college is exciting but can also be a little scary. As a college student, you have a lot more independence and need to navigate a lot of new situations, from choosing and registering for classes, to getting a parking pass, to making new friends. But don’t worry—there are a lot of people and resources to help you; you just need to know who and what they are and ask for help. Here are some common scenarios that you might experience at college. Answer each question using information from the FSCJ websiteand FSCJ social media channels (scroll down to the bottom of our main web page) to find answers that fit each scenario! Describe one potential positive outcome from receiving help on your college research paper.Scenario 3 Classes started two weeks ago. You’re finding them interesting, but they require more work and study time than your high school courses. You don’t want to fall behind, so you want to get help as soon as possible. After reviewing the Student Support Hub, list an office or department you can reach out to for support. Describe one potential positive outcome from reaching out to this office for support. Scenario 4 For some unknown reason, your FSCJ password for email and Canvas is not working. You don’t remember getting any emails notifying you that it is time to update your password, so you have no idea what could be causing the problem. Who can you contact about this problem? How would the problem be resolved?
